The Rakun API
Rakun is built on top of both FastAPI and Meilisearch to provide the easiest searching experience possible. The API is invisible to most people but is what Rakun is built on top of. For searching, Meilisearch is just about as fast and accurate as it gets. Of course, the data that goes into the search engine has to be just as good, so the scraper has been built from the ground up using Jikan to get the metadata for each item.
